Take advantage of this very unique experience visiting the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel once the doors have closed to the general public with our semi private and private guided tours.

Every Friday from September 3rd to October 29th, the Vatican is granting special enterance to visitors who wish to experience the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel as they was originally indented; in peace and quiet.

This tour will allow you to stroll though the largest collection in the world at your own pace without the chaos of hundreds and thousands of other visitors. Our 2 hour walking tour begins first in the Greek and Roman Statuary Collection where we see works dating back over 2000 years. We bring you through the Gallery of the Maps where the frescoed walls come to life as the dusk sky creeps through the windows. In the usually bustling old apartments of great popes such as Julius II, surrounded by paintings of Raphael, star light floods the room adding to the most intimate of experiences.

The climax of this tour is of course the Sistine Chapel. With plenty of room to spare, get comfortable, then captivated by the work of Michelangelo which he has spent almost a decade creating for us to enjoy in such an atmosphere. The Vatican is truly covered with majesty and mystery, come with us to explore both, on a walk through the Vatican after dark!

This tour is only available on Fridays, from September 3rd until the the 29th of October.
